Apply for dual admission to Brightpoint and George Mason University through Mason ADVANCE. As an ADVANCE participant, you'll be a Brightpoint and Mason student from day one with access to specialized advising support, tuition assistance, and the full Mason student experience.

Mason ADVANCE Benefits

Qualifications

Mason ADVANCE is available to Brightpoint students in good academic standing who meet the following enrollment requirements: 

  • Minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average for students with college credit 

  • Enrolled in specific Brightpoint associate degree curricular programs (see eligible programs below) 

  • Have earned no more than 30 college credits at the time of submission of the ADVANCE Declaration. The 30-credit limit does not include AP, IB, CLEP, or any other credit earned by exam. High school dual enrollment credit and credit earned at other U.S. or international colleges/universities does apply to the 30-credit limit.

  • Information Technology, A.A.S. with Cybersecurity, C.S.C. to Cybersecurity, B.A.S. 

  • Health Sciences, A.S. to Kinesiology: Allied Health Sciences Concentration, B.S. 

  • Teacher Education, A.S. to Elementary Education, B.S.Ed.
