CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The community is invited to get to know John Tyler Community College and its offerings through a series of virtual Open House events being held April 6 – 8, 2021. Those who register for these free events will learn about the college’s hands-on approach to academics and personalized support services; the many options that can help students pay for their education; and information on how credits earned at Tyler can be transferred to bachelor’s degree programs. In addition, Open House attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of the college’s faculty while exploring many of Tyler’s majors, including nursing, business, IT, visual arts, skilled trades, communications, engineering, web design and more. Some of these program sessions will be offered live, while others will be available on-demand at a time that is convenient for the attendee.

To participate in the college’s virtual Open House activities, register online. Upon completion of the registration form, participants will receive a link to access Tyler’s Open House website where they can review session options and sign up for the live and prerecorded sessions that most interest them. All attendees are encouraged to participate in a “Why Tyler” session.

Questions about Tyler’s Open House activities may be emailed to info@brightpoint.edu
